Currently, studnets have 50 minutes between 9am & 12pm to complete the online assignment on Fridays. To date, no student has made the time frame an issue. In fact, they feel that 9-12 is quite accomodating considering the normal class time is 10-10:50.

Students’ displeasure with online assignments in large part has much to do with the essay assingment rather than it being online. For this reason, I will have fewer online assignments and more online lectures. The online essays, however, have significantly increased student performance. It is now an invaluable tool that I wouldn’t even consider eliminating.
